Hey, y'all! I'm Lindsey. I am a Christian! I am twenty-something (for now) and married to the best man alive, Aaron. We're from the country and we like it that way. Well, okay, I'm a transplant from Illinois, but
I've embraced I'm embracing my southern upbringing. If I could just figure out cast iron cooking! We have been married for six years. We welcomed our first baby into the world this year. Sweet Cheyenne. We think she's perfect and I'll probably write about her... A LOT. Aaron is a gospel preacher and I couldn't be more proud. Being married to a preacher is a life with challenges but with even more blessings! We are members of the church Jesus Christ founded Himself in the first century. (cf Matt 16:18) The sign outside the building we worship in says "Church of Christ". (cf Romans 16:16) Its not a denomination like Baptist, Methodist, Episcopal, Catholic, Presbyterian, Mormon, etc. Its not even "non-denominational"... its PRE-denominational. (cf 1 Cor 1:10) We believe the Bible is God's word and is the sole authority over the church, not the building, the people! Therefor we live and worship according to God's word and God's word only. (cf John 4:24;Col 3:17) Being a child of God is the most important role in my life.
My goals for this blog are simple. First, I want to glorify the Lord by sharing what I am learning from His word and hopefully share the gospel with one or many! Second, I will share information about things that interest me. Third, I want to advocate for issues that are important to me. Finally, I want to share my life as it happens as a way to journal.
